Job Title: Head of Internal Control (Supermart)
Location: Capital Mall, Orchid Road, Lekki, Lagos State
Salary Band: N400K – N600K Monthly
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview
The Head of Internal Control will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and overseeing the internal control framework across all business operations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes operational efficiency, and safeguards company assets. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in risk management, audit processes, and internal control systems to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework across all business units.
• Lead risk assessment processes and design effective control measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Oversee compliance with statutory, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Collaborate with senior management to align internal control strategies with business objectives.
• Prepare and present reports on internal control performance to executive leadership.
• Ensure continuous training and awareness programs on internal control policies for staff.

Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in internal control, audit, risk management, or related fields.
• Professional certification: ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) is compulsory.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
