Job Title: HR Manager (Telecommunications)
Position: Human Resources Manager

Salary Band: NGN 500,000 Net

Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will lead the people agenda by building a high-performing, customer-focused workforce that supports business growth and operational excellence. The role is responsible for driving talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, organizational development, HR operations, and compliance while partnering with business leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and business priorities.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure the business attracts and retains high-performing talent.
• Drive performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Build and promote a high-performance culture that reflects the organization’s values and customer-centric approach.
• Provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and change management.
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievance management, and conflict resolution.
• Manage compensation, benefits, HR operations, employee records, and HR systems to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with Nigerian Labor Laws and all statutory employment obligations.
• Track and report HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI is required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience within the telecommunications, technology, fintech, or other fast-paced digital business environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor legislation, HR governance, and contemporary people management practices.
