ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking skilled Pressers with proven experience in both retail mart operations and laundry services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring garments and fabrics are professionally pressed, presented, and maintained to the highest standards, while also supporting customer service and operational efficiency in a mart setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate pressing equipment to remove wrinkles and restore fabric appearance.
• Handle a variety of garments including delicate fabrics, uniforms, and retail clothing items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pressing and laundry areas.
• Assist in garment preparation for display in the mart, ensuring items are customer-ready.
• Monitor and maintain pressing machines, reporting faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service when handling laundry requests or garment inquiries.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in both laundry and retail environments.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience as a Presser in both laundry and retail/mart settings.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types and appropriate pressing techniques.
• Ability to operate industrial pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to support both laundry operations and mart garment preparation.
