Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Inventory & Data Entry Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing and maintaining stock and sales data within the company’s inventory management software. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced retail and wholesale environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Input all newly received goods and stock items into the company’s inventory management software accurately and promptly.
• Record and update all sales transactions into the software on a daily basis to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
• Conduct periodic checks to verify that physical stock corresponds with data records in the system.
• Flag and report any discrepancies, errors, or anomalies in stock or sales data to the line manager.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date data records for easy retrieval and reporting.
• Support the team with any other inventory-related administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum Qualification (Entry-level friendly) of OND/HND/BSc in any field, or equivalent qualification.
• Basic proficiency in the use of a computer (essential).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A smart, fast learner with a positive attitude and willingness to be trained.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in data entry or inventory management is an advantage but not required.
Training & Onboarding
The successful candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training on the company’s inventory management software. Prior knowledge of the specific software is not required, a willingness to learn and the ability to operate a computer system are the most important prerequisites for this role.
