Job Summary
We are seeking a competent Mechanical Engineer to ensure the reliability, maintenance, and optimal performance of mechanical equipment within an industrial facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, minimizing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the maintenance and reliability of compressors, pumps, valves, pipelines, and other mechanical equipment.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure continuous plant operations.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to reduce equipment downtime.
• Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring of critical plant assets.
• Review mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications to support maintenance and engineering activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports and recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and plant efficiency.

Requirements, Competencies & Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, industrial processing, or utility operations.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, compressors, pumps, valves, pressure vessels, and piping systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques, alignment, vibration analysis, and mechanical inspections.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain high attention to detail.
