Role Overview:
The Sourcing Buyer manages the end-to-end procurement of products, from vendor onboarding and price negotiation to final delivery. You will conduct frequent market visits to ensure high-quality sourcing, maintain competitive pricing, and meet a strict 4-day fulfillment SLA. By monitoring vendor performance and market trends, you will optimize product availability and drive business growth through efficient, cost-effective supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end purchasing transactions, from initial requisitions and purchase orders to supplier follow-ups and final delivery tracking.
• Conduct frequent market visits and competitor price scanning to source high-quality products and technical items at the most competitive rates.
• Onboard new vendors and negotiate favorable terms, prices, and delivery schedules to maximize profit margins and business growth.
• Fulfill invoice requirements within a 4-day SLA, ensuring total product availability and quality before handover to the operations team.
• Maintain an accurate monthly digital catalogue, capturing updated market prices and product availability to drive repeat customer business.
• Analyze market trends and supply risks to proactively recommend inventory strategies and resolve potential production or delivery delays.
• Monitor vendor performance and KPI compliance, collaborating with internal departments to achieve organizational OKRs and Source-to-Pay efficiency.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
• OND/HND/BSc in related discipline
• Experience in environments such as: Supply chain, Procurement, Logistics & Technology-enabled services, would be an advantage.
• Strategic Sourcing, buying and negotiation.
• Familiarity with open markets in Lagos e.g., Oke arin, idumota, Alaba, owode onirin etc.
• Experience supporting high-execution environments where reliability, speed, and accountability are critical.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a fast-growing environment
• Comfortable working in demanding environments where operational pressures and rapid growth require adaptability and persistence.
