Location: Abeokuta Plant, Ogun State
Employment Type: Full-time (Shift-based)
Shift Structure: 12-hour rotating shifts (Plant-based)
Net Salary: 1.5M – 2M NGN monthly (Open to negotiation based on profile)
Experience Required: 10 – 15 years

Job Summary
We are seeking two robust, high-integrity HR & Admin Managers to drive day-to-day human resources and administrative operations at our Abeokuta plant. Operating within a demanding 12-hour rotating shift system, these roles require a commanding physical presence on the plant floor to ensure seamless operational continuity, strict enforcement of labor regulations, and rigorous industrial relations management. The ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional stability, stellar ethical character, and a proven track record of managing plant-level personnel within the manufacturing or oil and gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the frontline expert on grievance handling, dispute resolution, and union engagement, ensuring all actions strictly comply with the Nigerian Labour Act and internal codes of conduct.
• Manage HR and administrative functions across a 12-hour shift cycle, guaranteeing continuous coverage, strict staff compliance, and high operational discipline.
• Conduct fair, rigorous investigations and manage disciplinary procedures following absolute due process, maintaining airtight employee records.
• Oversee plant-level administration, including site facilities management, security coordination, attendance tracking, and local vendor liaison.
• Foster a productive working environment, resolve personnel concerns in real-time, and drive wellness initiatives tailored to sustain high morale during long-shift operations.
• Implement performance management frameworks to ensure production-floor staff align with strict safety and operational KPIs.
• Generate comprehensive daily/weekly HR shift reports, incident logs, and site-level personnel analytics for senior management review.
• Maintain proactive risk management, safety compliance, and crisis readiness to effectively mitigate site-level emergencies or labor disruptions.

Key Requirements & Competencies
• B.Sc. or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIPM are highly desirable.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive HR and administrative experience, with deep, specialized expertise in Industrial Relations within the manufacturing industry, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Demonstrated career stability and consistency, with a proven tenure of more than 2 years in each previous role.
• Impeccable moral character, unyielding integrity, and high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to command authority and remain objective on the plant floor is non-negotiable.
• Comprehensive mastery of the Nigerian Labour Act, Trade Unions Act, and industrial/factory safety regulations.
• High physical and mental resilience to thrive in a high-pressure, 24/7 industrial environment across demanding 12-hour shifts.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and crisis management skills, bridging shop-floor workers and senior management effectively.
