Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Cook to prepare authentic, high-quality Indian meals for expatriate staff in a residence or guest house setting. The ideal candidate maintains exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation while demonstrating consistency in taste, proactive kitchen management, and absolute professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare a wide variety of authentic Indian breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes, catering effectively to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dietary preferences.
• Ensure all meals are prepared, plated, and served punctually while maintaining high standards of taste, visual presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain a spotless, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment, including cooking utensils, appliances, and food preparation surfaces.
• Monitor ingredient freshness, store food items properly using safe preservation methods, and minimize waste.
• Prepare accurate shopping lists and coordinate with management for the timely replenishment of food supplies and kitchen essentials.
• Strictly comply with all health, food safety, and kitchen hygiene regulations.
• Properly operate and maintain kitchen appliances, reporting any mechanical faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Exercise absolute discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalism while working within the expatriate residence.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
• Proven professional experience as an Indian Cook, preferably within a hotel, upscale restaurant, or private expatriate residence.
• Deep knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine, regional recipes, spice blending, and traditional cooking techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare diverse vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian meals.
• Strong working knowledge of kitchen safety, hazard prevention, and food hygiene practices.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, manage time efficiently, and remain highly organized.
• Good communication skills and a reliable, detail-oriented personality.
