Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer / Group Finance Director

Role Overview
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, planning, and control activities across assigned business units. The role requires a commercially minded finance leader with strong technical skills and the ability to partner effectively with business heads to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management accounts, and board reports.
* Drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across assigned business units.
* Provide financial analysis, insights, and scenario planning to support commercial and strategic decisions.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax obligations in Nigeria.
* Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to group financial policies and procedures.
* Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
* Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, and working capital optimisation.
* Lead and develop the finance team, building capability and promoting a high-performance culture.
* Support due diligence processes and business integration activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Professional qualification required: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 8 to 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in a senior finance management role.
* Experience within a multinational, group, or diversified conglomerate environment is strongly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
