Job Summary
The Electrical Engineering Manager will oversee all electrical maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of gas, power, LNG, and solar energy facilities. The role involves managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading electrical maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate electrical maintenance activities across gas, power, LNG, and solar plant facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of generators, transformers, switchgear, substations, motors, control panels, solar PV systems, and related electrical assets.
• Lead troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis of electrical equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor maintenance performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Supervise electrical maintenance personnel, contractors, and vendors.
• Support plant shutdowns, commissioning activities, and major maintenance projects.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance documentation, and asset management plans.

Key Requirements & Competencies
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering; an MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
• Must be a registered member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
• 6–10 years of progressive plant maintenance experience within the Gas, Power, LNG, or Solar Energy sectors, with a proven track record of managing technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution networks, transformers, switchgear, motors, protection systems, and utility-scale solar PV installations.
• Proficient in CMMS usage, electrical reliability, asset integrity, and maintenance best practices.
• Experienced in technical troubleshooting, budgeting, cost control, project execution, and shutdown management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and strict adherence to HSE compliance.
