Job Title: Lead Electrical & Instrumentation
Location: Lagos | Port Harcourt
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: ₦2.8M Gross Monthly

Role Summary
The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Lead is a critical technical leadership role responsible for the design, procurement support, and site-level execution of E&I packages for major energy projects. You will ensure that all electrical and control systems are seamlessly integrated into our fabrication and construction workflows, adhering strictly to DBN’s QHSE culture and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for all E&I deliverables, including power distribution layouts, earthing/lightning protection,
cabling, instrument loops and control philosophy.
• Ensure full operability and safety by integrating control philosophies (DCS/PLC/SCADA) with mechanical and process systems.
• Manage E&I activities from the FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) stage through to commissioning and final handover.
• Review technical bids and vendor data for E&I equipment to ensure compliance with project cost and quality requirements.
• Supervise the installation of cable trays, glanding, termination, and instrument calibration.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• COREN and NSE registration (highly preferred) to ensure regulatory compliance.
• 10–12 years of post-NYSC experience in the Oil & Gas EPC sector, with a focus on leadership roles.
• Expertise in DCS, ESD systems, and Hazardous Area Classification (ATEX/CompEx).
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools, specifically ETAP and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI).
