Job Title: Construction Lead
Location: Port Harcourt
Industry: EPC (Oil & Gas focus)
Reports To: Project Manager
Salary: ₦2.8M Gross Monthly

Job Summary
The Construction Lead oversees all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all phases of construction, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works, while managing schedules and resource allocation.
• Supervise personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and NCDMB regulations.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and conduct quality audits to ensure workmanship meets client standards.
• Enforce strict HSE policies and maintain ISO 9001 certification requirements through continuous process optimization and internal/external audits.
• Prepare and present regular project documentation and progress reports.

Key Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• COREN registration and NSE membership are required; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of construction management experience in the EPC/Oil & Gas industry.
• Skilled in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and design tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with Nigerian regulatory/environmental standards.
