Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the media and creative production space. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth across our Lagos and Abuja operations. You will act as the bridge between our creative team and potential clients, ensuring that our high-quality production services are effectively positioned to meet the strategic needs of corporate organizations, agencies, and brands.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand our client base and market share in key sectors.
• Proactively identify and engage prospective clients, focusing on B2B partnerships, corporate accounts, and high-value project tenders.
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the media landscape.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle: from initial outreach and pitch presentations to proposal drafting, contract negotiation, and final closing.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, providing regular reporting on sales performance and revenue projections to management.
• Collaborate closely with the creative and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with operational capabilities and delivery standards.
• Represent the organization at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and professional presence.
Key Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in business development or sales, specifically within the media, advertising, or creative production industry.
• Strong understanding of the media landscape in Nigeria, with an existing network of decision-makers in the corporate or agency sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for persuasive storytelling and high-stakes negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting market data to refine sales approaches.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across two regional hubs (Lagos and Abuja).
