Job Title: Lead Civil & Structural Engineer

Salary: ₦2.8M Gross Monthly

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Civil / Structural Engineer to supervise engineering functions, manage project design consistency, and ensure all construction projects meet rigorous quality, safety, and industry standards from conceptual design through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise civil/structural engineering activities, manage design contractors, and mentor junior team members.
• Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and MTOs, ensuring all designs comply with company standards, HSE regulations, and industry codes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve design/field problems, manage project timelines, monitor budgets, and perform risk analyses.
• Conduct HAZOPs, ensure design risks are ALARP, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Prepare regular progress reports and ensure lessons learned are integrated into future project workflows.

Key Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng./B.Sc.) or HND in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years post-graduation experience, including 6 years in engineering/construction/commissioning and 3 years in a senior role (ideally in Oil & Gas).
• Mastery of CAD software, MS Office, and structural engineering principles.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Professional registration (NSE/COREN) is preferred.
