Salary: ₦1.9M Gross Monthly

Role Purpose:
The Project Control Engineer is responsible for overseeing project planning, cost control, and scheduling to ensure that all civil and engineering projects within the facility are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cost & Quantity Management: Establish quantities, man-hours, and all elements related to project costing; prepare price tables and detailed cost estimation sheets.
• Planning & Scheduling: Examine and assess construction plans to prepare quantity requirements and develop detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or AutoCAD.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise and work collaboratively with tendering teams, site managers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Budgetary Oversight: Document relevant changes in design and update project budgets and risk assessments as required.
• Contract & Vendor Management: Scrutinize material costs and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness; assist the Project Manager with client and contractor negotiations.
• Reporting: Gather and prepare comprehensive reports, trend analyses, and progress updates for management and the Factory Head.
• Compliance: Ensure all engineering projects, including machinery installation and commissioning, comply with statutory requirements and company safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles, structural design, and industrial utilities.
• Excellent negotiating, organizing, and strategizing abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Project, or similar project management software.
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing or industrial setup.
